What We Believe
One True God
We Believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons, commonly known as the ‘trinity’ or tri-unity of God–the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. They are all equal in power and glory and that this triune God created all, upholds all, and governs all.
The Word Of God
We Believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the Word of God, fully inspired, without error in the original manuscripts, and the only infallible rule of faith and practice given to humanity by God.
God The Father
We Believe in God the Father, an infinite, personal Being, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, and love; that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of men; that He hears and answers prayer; and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.
God The Son
We Believe in Jesus Christ, God’s unique Son, who in his physical form was conceived by the Holy Spirit through the virgin Mary. This made him both true God and true man. He became a man without giving up his divinity to provide the ultimate and only sacrifice for sinful humanity, who are incapable of saving themselves from God’s judgment on their sin. Jesus has been eternally God and was not created but is the Son by role, not reproduction.
God The Holy Spirit
We Believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and the Son to convict the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and regenerate, sanctify, and empower for ministry all who believe in Jesus Christ. The Holy Spirit is an eternal Person and is not the impersonal power or presence of God.
Humanity
We Believe that all of humanity are sinners by nature and choice and are therefore under condemnation; that God regenerates by the Holy Spirit those who repent of their sins by believing in the sacrificial death of Jesus on the cross; that they are then forgiven, given eternal life, and brought into the Family of God.
The Return Of Christ
We Believe in the personal, visible return of Christ to the earth and the establishment of His Kingdom, fulfilling Old Testament prophecies; in the physical resurrection of the body; the final judgment of all humanity; and the eternal blessing of the righteous saved by grace in heaven, as well as the endless punishment of those who reject the grace of God in hell. Heaven and hell are real places of eternal, conscious existence where every human will reside.
